How it all started…

  • 2004 –2008

    Aravind and Srikrishna crossed paths at RV College of Engineering. Aravind had quite a reputation: brilliant, methodical, and always three steps ahead.. Sri? For getting things done, and his networking skills.

  • Post-College

    Aravind went on to IISc, graduated at the top of his class, joined Google, and later found a startup that got acquired by Freshworks. Sri headed to IIM, then joined InMobi, where he was known as the go-to guy for deals, GTM, and momentum.

  • InMobi Era

    Then, Sri met Praveen at InMobi. Praveen led the customer data platform at InMobi and was widely respected for his clarity and execution. He almost joined another company, until Sri convinced him to stay.

  • 2019

    Aravind reached out to Sri for a casual chat on product and GTM. A few conversations in, things started to spark. Sri brought Praveen into the mix, and the trio just… clicked
    By July 2019, they decided to make it official. Factors was born, with early backing from the leadership at InMobi themselves. You know the thing they say… when the stars align… magic happens. That’s exactly what happened.

One part product, one part engineering, one part GTM. All in, all aligned (with the stars, of course), and all obsessed with building something that actually works.
And, that, children… is how the co-founders met!
